DS4EIW 2026 welcomes submissions presenting original results and substantial new work not currently under review or published elsewhere. The workshop focuses on data science solutions addressing equality, inclusion, and well-being challenges. The full list of topics of interest can be found on the Topics of Interest page.

Submission Tracks


The following submissions are accepted:

  • Regular research papers (up to 8 pages)
  • Short research, application, and vision papers (up to 4 pages)

The page limit excludes the references. No appendix is allowed.

Submission Format


Manuscripts must be prepared in accordance with the same rules as ICDE conference papers, i.e., in accordance with the IEEE format available at https://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html.

Review Process


All submissions will be peer-reviewed by at least three members of the program committee. The review process will be single-blind.

All final camera-ready papers must be uploaded before the deadline - March 9, 2026. These papers must adhere to the same IEEE format as the original submission.

At least one author of each accepted paper is required to register for the workshop. All accepted papers are expected to be presented at the workshop and will appear in the IEEE ICDE 2026 conference proceedings.

Publication


All accepted papers will appear in the IEEE ICDE 2026 conference proceedings.

Presentation Format


The workshop will be held in person in Montréal, Canada. Authors of accepted papers will be notified of specific presentation requirements and details closer to the workshop date.
